Functions:

Interest representation and information dissemination are part of the main functions of ZACCI.

The concept for interest representation is based on evidence-based advocacy. The

compilations of data, facts and trends, its analysis and dissemination are important elements in

future dissemination of economic and business intelligence.

Duties:

• Compiling and analysing economic and business facts and data
• Planning and conducting of qualitative and quantitative studies (paper-pencil and online)
• Assessing and measuring trends in political decision-making processes
• Supporting ZACCI leadership and standing committees to advocate ZACCI members’
• interests towards the Zambian government
• Supporting networking and lobbying on behalf of ZACCI members with governmental
• institutions
• Preparing business agendas and position papers related to the business climate and
• environment
• Conducting the business-climate-monitor for Zambia
• Coordinating and contributing to ZACCI regular publications and other communication
• dissemination channels.

Requirements

• Degree in economics or a related field
• Working experience in the private and public sector
• Strong and outgoing personality with exceptional communication skills
• Strong Analysing skills
• Experience in moderating different interests
• Working experience in business membership organisations is an added advantage
