Responsibilities

  • Ensures adherence of techniques for evaluating performance to Network Operation objectives in line with the SLAs;
  • Ensures guidelines and procedures are adhered while monitoring compliance with existing policies and procedures;
  • Prepares specific agenda items and lead discussions during Management review meetings;
  • Identifies needed areas of change and implement improvements to operations and contributes to RFP proposals;
  • Develops and/or approves schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving Network Operation quality goals;
  • Drives planned digital strategy for the successful delivery of MTNZ digital transformation initiatives focusing on customer centricity to reflect in a positive and improved net promoter score and growth in digital maturity score;
  • Works with internal and external customers to analyse the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals;
  • Analyses performance trends and kpi tracking for different products and services on a weekly and monthly basis as required and share with senior management and stakeholders;
  • Analyses and executes on improvement strategies based on project / programme outcomes, e.g. lessons learnt, customer feedback and project closure reviews;
  • Facilitates the change management and communication plans on delivered initiatives to drive optimal benefits realization;
  • Responsible for Digital kpi and performance tracking of impact and progress of various initiatives against commitments to the bottom line;
  • Ensures Customer complaints are resolved timely within SLAs;
  • Maintains a dynamic environment to ensure maximum performance from all staff;
  • Manages the complexities of the interaction between the whole host of technologies and services in the Network;
  • Manages staff training and development.

Candidate Requirements

  • B.S.c. Engineering/Telecommunication or related field;
  • Grade 12 Certificate. (5 O’ Level credits, including compulsorily English Language and Mathematics);
  • Five (5) years hands-on experience in telecommunications field;
  • Demonstrated experience in managing customer/subcontractors/Vendors;
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen;
  • Experience in contract agreements and specifications of equipment for the GSM and telecoms networks;
  • Project Management and Quality experience;
  • Tele-traffic engineering experience.
