Bulvic Construction Limited seeks to engage Engineers on the following PARTIME positions. The company will offer competitive package to the successful candidates.

1. Contract Manager – position (1)

DUTIES

• To organize and manage the construction and upkeep of buildings and facilities.
• Put civic plans and safety programs into action and coordinate them.
• To determine whether a proposal is feasible, do preliminary surveys, risk analyses, and environmental effect analyses on candidate sites.
• Conducting feasibility and technical assessments, including site visits.
• Coordinating with all other departments (both internal and external) and a range of experts, such as architects and subcontractors.
• Evaluating a project’s environmental impact and sustainability.
• Assembling job specifications and overseeing processes.
• Ensuring that construction is completed on schedule and within budget.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS

• Complete Grade Twelve Certificate with credits or better in mathematics and English.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Quantity Survey
• A minimum of two years of relevant job experience in the construction industry / company.
• A current practice license issued by the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).

2. Site Engineer – position (1)

DUTIES

• To organize and manage the construction and upkeep of buildings and facilities.
• Put civic plans and safety programs into action and coordinate them.
• Manage day to day site operations.
• To determine whether a proposal is feasible, do preliminary surveys, risk analyses, and environmental effect analyses on candidate sites.
• Conducting feasibility and technical assessments, including site visits.
• Coordinating with all other departments (both internal and external) and a range of experts, such as architects and subcontractors.
• Evaluating a project’s environmental impact and sustainability.
• Assembling job specifications and overseeing processes.
• Ensuring that construction is completed on schedule and within budget.

DUTIES

• Coordinating with all other departments (both internal and external) and a range of experts, such as architects and subcontractors.
• Evaluating a project’s environmental impact and sustainability.
• Assembling job specifications and undertaking processes.
• Ensuring that construction is completed on schedule and within budget.
