Roles and Responsibilities:

  • In charge of planning, coordinating and executing all technical installations/ Maintenance of the Water and Energy system projects Designing, Sizing and Quoting for borehole, water pumps, water treatments irrigations, solar and generator systems.
  •  Developing and implementing processes for managing operations or projects to ensure that they meet customer needs, legal requirements, and organizational goals
  • Produce periodic reports to update company management on progress of operations
  • Planning, scheduling and supervising the work of technical staff to ensure that services are provided in a timely manner, efficiently, and with the highest quality possible
  • Ensuring that all employees are trained on new water & energy technologies and processes as needed to keep them up to date on industry trends
  • Organize training programs to educate technical operations personnel on standard operating procedures
  • Overseeing the use of equipment, materials, and other workplace resources to ensure that they are being used efficiently
  • Communicating regularly with clients to ensure that they are satisfied with the service provided by the company
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Participate actively in business unit targets
  • Liaise with other departmental heads to plan and implement action plans for improved technical operations
  • Creating and implementing new methods of operation or improving existing ones to increase efficiency or reduce costs
  • Evaluating employee performance and conducting performance appraisals to ensure that employees are meeting job requirements and working towards career development goals
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and monitoring of technical operations staff
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures when performing job duties
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of technical processes, functions and requirements.

II. Required Competence:

  • Diploma in Project management / Business Management
  • Qualification in Electrical and/ Mechanical Engineering (added advantage)
  • At least 3 Years of working Experience in a similar role.
  • Valid driver’s license.
