Kapasa Makasa University is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates who are highly motivated and passionate about making a mark in the education sector to fill the position of lecturer on either part time or full-time basis in the Agriculture and Aquatic Sciences department.

1     Lecturer -Fish Genetics and Breeding

The candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Grade 12 Certificate with Five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics
• Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries and Aquaculture and Master’s degree in Fish genetics and breeding.
• Must belong a professional body related to the field of expertise
• Holder of an earned PhD in Fisheries and Aquaculture or related field will be an added advantage
• At least two years of teaching and scholarship experience
• A teaching Methodology qualification is a must.

2. Lecturer – GIS and Remote Sensing

The candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Grade 12 Certificate with Five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics
• Holder of a Bachelor’s in Natural Resources Management and Master’s degree in GIS and Remote Sensing.
• Must belong a professional body related to the field of expertise
• Holder of an earned PhD in Natural Resource or related field will be an added advantage
• At least two years of teaching and scholarship experience
• A teaching Methodology qualification is a must.
