Yalelo is seeking a highly motivated and energetic self-starter with a customer-centric focus to work as Modern Trade and Exports Coordinator.

The Modern Trade and Exports Coordinator will support in assessing viability of regional markets and implementing route-to-market to expand Yalelo’s footprint. He/she will also support in managing relationships with key customers in Modern Trade.

Exports

Coordinates with customers to ensure that all of their needs are met throughout the shipping process.

Ensures customers are fully informed of the progress of their shipments.

• Develops and maintain effective working relationships with key customer to develop more business

opportunities.

Manages the export process from start to finish.

Modern Trade & Forecourts

Ensures that Modern Trade and Forecourt Outlets achieve/exceed their monthly targets.

Acts as a main contact for existing and new customers.

Ensures complaints are followed up and that satisfactory solutions are obtained for both the customer and Yalelo.

The Essentials:

• BSc/BA in business/Marketing & Sales or relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in similar roles.
• Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with solid business development skills
• High problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
• Strong negotiation skills.

Meeting customer requirements is demanding, and the successful candidates must be available to their team and/or customers on weekends (except while on leave).
