Position: Auto Loan Manager

Duties and responsibilities include:

Originate, process, and close loans in compliance with established policies and procedures

Daily processing of vehicle loans

Review loan applications and documentation to determine if applicant and collateral meet loan guidelines

Obtain and analyse all required loan documents and submit complete loan packages to underwriting

Respond to customer inquiries regarding loan status and deny loan requests when necessary

Work with customers to restructure loans when needed and recommend work-outs to senior management when appropriate

Manage a portfolio of loans and monitor delinquencies to minimize losses

Identify potential loan servicing problems and refer them to the servicing department

Keep abreast of new types of loans and other financial services offered by the company

Attend training sessions and seminars to stay current on industry changes

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Refer clients to other company services when appropriate

Manage loan officers and sales agents

Working closely with the group insurance officer

Conduct training for all the channels and team on product, policy and market changes

Requirements and qualifications:

Grade 12 certificate /GCE

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field

Proven work experience as a Loan Manager

Strong analytical skills for reviewing loan applications and financial statements

Ability to work independently and with a team

Ability to work in a goal-oriented environment

Familiarity with computers and banking applications/software

Customer satisfaction orientated and sales competencies

Experience in car loan facility will be an added advantage
