Reports to Lab Business Coordinator. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the NHIMA accredited facilities are compliant with the NHIMA protocols. S/he will provide training, reports and billing on NHIMA products, payments and queries.

Main duties
  • Evaluates data in CIDRZ Laboratory Information System (XLEEMs) against data in the NHIMA software (APACE).
  • Identifies new/potential NHIMA markets and products as determined by data from CIDRZ Centers accredited by NHIMA.
  • Provides scientific/clinical guidance to NHIMA facilities and personnel on applicable sample collection protocols and appropriate temperature for optimal specimen stability until delivery to laboratory for testing.  
  • Submits weekly marketing reports to Business Development Coordinator
  • Ensures NHIMA billing is submitted on time to NHIMA center.
  • Works with Billing Clerk to address NHIMA Account Reconciliations for accurate submission of bills.
  • Communicates all NHIMA publications and updates to all end users and ensure adherence.
  • Ensures that NHIMA Branding available and appropriately displayed at all CIDRZ centers accredited by NHIMA.
  • Occasionally assists with phlebotomy needs. 
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Biomedical Sciences or related field
  • Knowledge of office administrative procedures.
  • Proficient in relevant software applications such as XLEEMs and APACE.
  • Basic understanding of policies and procedures.
  • Computer Literacy.
  • 1 year post qualifications experience in a similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional Phlebotomy Skills
  • Outstanding communication skills 
  • Valid practicing license
