Closed Full TimeReports to Lab Business Coordinator. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the NHIMA accredited facilities are compliant with the NHIMA protocols. S/he will provide training, reports and billing on NHIMA products, payments and queries.
Main duties
- Evaluates data in CIDRZ Laboratory Information System (XLEEMs) against data in the NHIMA software (APACE).
- Identifies new/potential NHIMA markets and products as determined by data from CIDRZ Centers accredited by NHIMA.
- Provides scientific/clinical guidance to NHIMA facilities and personnel on applicable sample collection protocols and appropriate temperature for optimal specimen stability until delivery to laboratory for testing.
- Submits weekly marketing reports to Business Development Coordinator
- Ensures NHIMA billing is submitted on time to NHIMA center.
- Works with Billing Clerk to address NHIMA Account Reconciliations for accurate submission of bills.
- Communicates all NHIMA publications and updates to all end users and ensure adherence.
- Ensures that NHIMA Branding available and appropriately displayed at all CIDRZ centers accredited by NHIMA.
- Occasionally assists with phlebotomy needs.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Biomedical Sciences or related field
- Knowledge of office administrative procedures.
- Proficient in relevant software applications such as XLEEMs and APACE.
- Basic understanding of policies and procedures.
- Computer Literacy.
- 1 year post qualifications experience in a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional Phlebotomy Skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Valid practicing license
