Republic of Zambia
Closed ConsultancyTo support the goals of the eighth national development plan (8NDP) and the Vision 2030, the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) seeks to develop an overarching resource mobilisation strategy for climate resilient low carbon development in Zambia. This will include support to key priority sectoral plans such as the Zambia Water Investment Programme (ZIP) and the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) on Climate Change (CC). The main goal of the ZIP is to transform and improve the investment outlook for water security and sustainable sanitation in Zambia in line with the national aspirations for a prosperous, peaceful, inclusive and equitable country by 2030; whereas those for the NAP are aimed at strengthening systems for integrating climate change adaptation into development planning and budgeting processes. Thus, to support implementation of climate resilient development in Zambia and through development of the roadmap for implementation of the ZIP, NAP and other prioritised sectoral plans, GRZ requires the services of a Consulting Firm to prepare a resource mobilization strategy and implementation roadmap for the ZIP, the NAP and other prioritized sectoral plans/strategies. In this regard, prospective Consulting Firms are invited to submit proposals for the development of a resource mobilization strategy for climate resilient low carbon development in Zambia which will also include the roadmap for implementation of the ZIP, NAP and other prioritized sectoral plans.
