Title: Child Specialist Cum’ Personal Assistant

Type of Position: Full-Time

Location: Lusaka, Zambia

We seek a Child Specialist Cum’ Personal Assistant. The individual will implement education program for a diverse age and teaching them in classroom and alternative settings. They will also provide one-to-one support to the senior manager they will offer administrative help. Applicants must be friendly, enthusiastic attitude, love to learn and help others learn.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be a liaison between the schools and the parents.
• Prepare a curriculum to meet the children’s learning need.
• Assisting children with all work sent from school.
• Create lesson plans, objectives, activities, and assessment plans to keep the children interested and improve their reading, writing, and conversing skills.
• Communicating with parents to ensure that they are up to date with the child’s progress and understanding of class content.
• Ensure children’s safety.
• Assigning homework and providing instructions and guidance in all subjects.
• Supervising children who are not yet mature enough to handle independent study without guidance.
• Develop and teach age-appropriate lesson plans in all core-academic subjects, including but not limited to reading and writing.
• Attend events and meetings as directed.
• Demonstrate the ideals of an Ideal Team Player

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of a university degree in Education
• Experience in teaching is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must have a driver’s license.
• Applicant must be single.
• Applicant must be female.
• Must have good IT skills this being able to use all the basic functionality of a computer and have intermediate skills in Microsoft processing.
• Having special education, training or experience is an added advantage.
• Having experience in Sunday school teaching is an added advantage.
