Lamasat International Limited is a leading manufacturer looking to hire a skilled carpenter with knowledge of various carpentry techniques. The ideal candidate will be responsible for layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures, and buildings. Other duties will include designing, cutting, and measuring materials according to the client’s requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reads blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals and architects
• Designs and installs cabinets, shelving, doors, windows, fitted furniture and other fixtures as required
• Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools or machines
• Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials
• Follows established safety rules and regulations maintaining a safe and clean environment
• Adds fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures
• Ability to operate tools, machines and other equipment

Requirements:

• Carpentry certification is preferable
• 5+ years’ experience as a carpenter
• Good communication skills
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
• Knowledge of mathematics
