Our Client, a restaurant in Ndola seeks highly confident and experienced Restaurant/Floor Managers who are results-driven eager to meet sales goals by hiring and training competent staff, overseeing kitchen operations, and motivating staff during busy hours. Also responsible for making needed changes to the menu, ordering ingredients for the kitchen staff, and gathering feedback from customers

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reporting To: Operations Manager

Interacts With: Management, Clients, Customers, Employees

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Hire and train staff members
  • Ensure that health and safety protocols are adhered to
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of restaurant at all times
  • Keep a meticulous record of income and expenses
  • Order ingredients in the correct quantities for the kitchen staff.
  • Communicate with customers to receive feedback and manage complaints
  • Open and close the restaurant on time.
  • Good knowledge of hospitality health and safety and regulatory requirements

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

  • Experience: 2 years plus
  • Education Level: Certificate Level
  • Qualifications: A high school qualification or equivalent
  • Software: MS Office
  • Equipment: Job related
  • Knowledge Of: Hospitality Industry
  • Skills To: Displaying strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, bookkeeping knowledge, good human resource management skills
  • Ability To: Professionally address customer complaints
  • Other Requirements: Able to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations.
