Serene Gardens Kitwe is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Room Attendant to join our team. As a Room Attendant with at least two years of experience, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and comfort of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

•  Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms and public areas per established standards.
• Perform a variety of cleaning activities, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, making beds, and replenishing linens.
• Ensure all amenities are restocked in each room according to the established guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues or damage to the appropriate department.
• Respond to guests’ requests with prompt and courteous service.
•  Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.

Requirements:

• Grade twelve certificate or GCE
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Room Attendant in a similar establishment.
•  Proven understanding of cleaning and sensitization procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for cleanliness.
•  Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Solid communication skills in [relevant language(s) spoken by guests].
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to handle the physical demands of the position, including standing, bending, and lifting.

Preferred Qualifications:

1.  Certification in housekeeping or related field.
2. Knowledge of different cleaning products and their proper usage.
3.  Familiarity with operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums and buffers.
