1)    POSITION:  HANDYMAN BRICKLAYER x 1- PERMANENT

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• To provide quality Bricklaying, Plastering and Tiling works and ensuring adherence to work specifications, standard and safe working environment.
• To help generate acceptable quality of civil maintenance works and infrastructure development.
• To diligently execute Bricklaying works as assigned by the building supervisor to residential and social infrastructures such as (schools, hospitals/clinics, social clubs, office buildings, etc.)
• Ensuring all stakeholders in the business that require the services of Bricklaying and Plastering works are effectively and satisfactorily attended to.
• Ensuring that work orders are closed / done in accordance with requirements (in terms of quality, usage and specifications) and that, materials are available for the job.
• Giving technical and professional advice on work requirements to ensure conformity to accepted standards for work requests.
• Providing feedback to the Building Supervisor on material-usage and works completed.
• To make sure that all Bricklaying tools are properly kept.
• To make sure that there is no wastage of materials and avoid reworks.

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements areas

• Grade 12 certificate
• G7 Trade Test Certificate or better.
• At least 3 years working experience in Bricklaying and Plastering.
• Experience in Bricklaying and Plastering works with notable references.
• Knowledge Of relevant Zambian Engineering standards.
• Interpersonal, Leadership and Communication skills.
