Our client is looking for a Marketing Manager to implement effective marketing, advertising and communication strategies, to enhance the company’s Brand position through the promotion of its products and services and to develop relevant policies and procedures relating to the Brand and Corporate Profile

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reporting To: Managing Director

Supervision Of: Marketing Department

Interacts With: Clients, Management and Marketing Team

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Works closely with marketing and design agencies to define and design the company’s brand
  • Coordinates customer research to collect information and comes up with proposals for new products and/or proposes changes to existing products
  • Monitors and evaluates the performance of new and revised products in order to assess their viability
  • Ensures effective implementation of marketing strategies, through marketing campaigns, promotions, trade shows and exhibitions
  • Ensures the design and profitability of all such proposals
  • Develops and implements Public Relations programmes for TV, Radio, Fair exhibitions and newspapers to market the Society and sensitize customers and the general public on the services and activities of the organisation
  • Develops and implements an effective communication strategy for the company across all media ensuring efficient spending and achievement of optimal brand exposure
  • Writes speeches and press statements for the Managing Director and/or the Board Chairman for the media to disseminate the information professionally and accurately to the Public
  • Produces the Quarterly Company newsletter to ensure provision of up to date and useful information to the public and members of staff
  • To monitor the Banking & Mortgage Marketing Budget and ensure these are implemented within approved Budget lines

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

Experience: 10 years plus

Education Level: Degree

Qualifications: Degree in Marketing or equivalent Business qualification.

Software: Microsoft Office

Equipment: Job related

Knowledge Of: Maintaining records, dealing with routine queries and correspondence, preparing technical work plans and reports

Skills To: Communication skills, customer service skills, interpersonal skills, leadership/ management/supervisory skills, analytical skills, problem solving skills

Ability To: Fast or high-pressure working and attention to detail
