Invitation for Public Submissions for Proposed Health Services & Conditions for input in the NHIMA Benefit Package (BP) Review Process

The National Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) is inviting members of the public, trade Unions, civil society, and organizations to submit proposals for health services, conditions, medical drugs, and supplies to be considered in the revised NHIMA Benefit Package (BP). This consultative review process is an important part of NHIMA's mandate to provide innovative healthcare financing solutions within limited resources that align with the dynamic national healthcare needs and priorities. The submission period is from January 25th, 2023, to February 25th, 2023.

Other key stakeholders involved in the review process include the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Ministry of Health, Senior clinicians. Churches Health Association of Zambia, private sector, cooperating partners, various health professional bodies, regulatory bodies, and academic institutions.
