TENDER NO: PSU/LTC/W/01 /2023 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CHIKABUKE BRIDGE IN LUFWANYAMA DISTRICT ON THE COPPERBELT PROVINCE OF ZAMBIA

1. Lufwanyama Town Council has received funds from The Government of the Republic of Zambia towards Government Support Projects 2022 in Lufwanyama District.

2. The Government Support Project 2022 is being implemented in Lufwanyoma District and the Council intends to engage suitably qualified Contractor for:

3. The Lufwanyama Town Council is now Inviting sealed bids from eligible contractors registered with the National Council for Construction (NCC) in category R and C, Grade 4. The bidding documents should be valid for a period of 180 days.

4. Interested bidders may obtain further Information from and inspect the bidding documents from the Procurement Office, Lufwanyama Town Council, P.O. 5. Bidding documents and additional copies may be purchased by eligible firms from the office of the Procurement Officer, Lufwanyama Town Council, P.O. Box 260500, Lufwanyama, Copperbelt Province, Zambia, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K 1000.00 in cash, or deposit in the account below;

6. Successful Bidders will be selected under National Open Bidding and will be Restricted to Citizen Bidders in accordance to Section 39(2) of the Public Procurement Act No 8 of 2020 and 83 (2) off Public Procurement Regulations No 30 of 2022.

7. Sealed bids must be deposited in the Tender Box situated at the Civic Centre, Lufwanyama Town Council, on or before Friday 03rd March 2023 at 10:00 hours local time.

8. The closing date for the receipt of bids is Friday 03rd March 2023 at 10:00 hours local time and any bids received later than the time and date stipulated above will not be accepted. The bids will be opened in the Council Chamber at Civic Centre, lufwanyama Town Council, Copperbelt Province, Zambia on the same date soon after closing in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
