Catholic Medical Mission Board Zambia (CMMB-Z) has set aside funds for improving Primary Healthcare in Mwandi district under its CHAMPs Project CMMB-Z intends to use part of these funds on the project for the proposed installation of Rainwater harvesting system at Magumwi and Sankolonga RHPs in Magumwi and Sankolonga Wards in Mwandi, Western Province.
CMMB-Z now invite sealed bids from eligible contractors as follows:

6. Mandatory Site Visit meeting place, time, and date:
Mwandi UCV OVC Premises at Mwandi CHAMPs Project Office near Mwandi Mission Hospital on Thursday, 2nd February 2023, at 9:00 Hours.
Please Note: Bidders shall conduct a site visit process at own expense.
7. Deadline for Bid Submission:
Friday, 17th February 2023 by 12:00 hours, local time. However, Telegraphic and/or electronic bids/offers will not he accepted.
8. Anticipated Award Type:
CMMB anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price contract agreement. Issuance of this IFB in no way obligates CMMB Zambia to award a subcontract or contract agreement and Bidders will not be reimbursed for any costs associated with the preparation of their bid.
9. Basis for Award:
An award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid is responsive to the terms of the IFB and is most advantageous to CMMB Zambia, considering the detailed technical experience, price or and other factors included in the IFB. To be considered for award, bidders must meet the requirements identified in Section 9 and 10. "Determination of Responsibility". No discussions or negotiations are permitted with bidders, and therefore bidders shall submit their best and final price.
Bidders are requested to consider the requirements as expressed in the IFB.
10. General Instructions to Bidden:
- Bidding documents and additional copies in English language such as Drawings may be obtained by eligible firms from the office of the CHAMPS Project Coordinator in Mwandi for free as you conduct your site visit.
- Sealed bids clearly labelled "TENDER FOR PROPOSED INSTALLATION OF RAINWATER HARVESTING SYSTEM AT MAGUMWI AND SANKOLONGA RURAL HEALTH POST IN MAGUMWI AND SANKOLONGA WARD, MWANDI DISTRICT, WESTERN PROVINCE" and must be deposited in the Tender Box at Catholic Medical Mission Board Zambia (CMMB-Z), Reception Area, Plot number 20 Msuzi Road, Woodlands, Lusaka, Zambia before or by Friday, 17th February 2023 by 12:00 Hours local time.
- A Pre-bid meeting "shall not" take place.
- The closing date for the receipt of bids is Friday, 17th February 2023 by 12:00 Hours, local time.
- Late or Electronic bids shall not be accepted.
11. Compliance with Terms and Conditions:
Bidders should be aware of the general terms and conditions for an award resulting from this IFB. The selected successful Bidder shall comply with all Representations and Certifications of Compliance.
12. Procurement Ethics:
By submitting a Bid, Bidders certify that they have not/will not attempt to bribe or make any payments to CMMB Zambia employees in return for preference, nor have any payments with Terrorists, or groups supporting Terrorists, been attempted.
