Closed ContractInternational Facilities Services (IFS) is hiring a Human Resource Officer at its operations at Kansanshi mine in solwezi.This positions will report to the site/Project manager and the key purpose is to:
- To be a trusted advisor to the site project manager.
- To work and support site managers and teams through enhancing their capabilities to manage their people,implement change and build relations with key stakeholders (Internal and external).
- To support the development,integration and implementation of corporate HR policies and practice.
The key responsibilities for this role will be:
- To manage the recruitment,selection and appointment process for the site by ensuring that the right person for the job is appointed.
- Manage new engagements and exit documentation and submit to head office.
- compile and submit management and statutory reports relating to human resource management on the site.
- Lead management in employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Support the business with employee and industrial relations by having knowledge of country-specific legislative requirements,an understanding of impact on the organisation and developing a relationship with the department of labour,unions,regulatory bodies and the community.
- Identify specific employment and development issues from workforce trends and staff feedback mechanisms.
- Manage the succession planning on the site.
- Oversee terminations and exits according to policy guidelines.
To be considered for this position,you must meet the below:
- Grade 12 school certificate or equivalent
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management.
- Atleast 3-5 years working experience in the similar industry or mining environment.
- Member of the zambia institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM).
