1. MATERIALS CONTROLLER-X 01 NDOLA
PURPOSE: You will report direct to the Project Manager who are the Head of the Materials Department. You will be in charge of controlling of ATS stocks with the project as well as undertaking procurement activities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Full grade 12 Certificate or any equivalent with credits or better.
- Must have a minimum of Diploma in stores management/procurement with some practical experience working in materials/stock control or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties may be considered.
- Must have at least three (3) years relevant experience in the field.
- Should have strong ICT skills.
SKILLS
- Must have initiative and have good interpersonal skills.
- Should be able to interact with personnel from other departments and the clients.
- Be physically fit and be able to pass pre-employment and medical examinations.
- Must have Good written and oral communication skills in English language.
- Ability to listen and learn skills required in performing bar service duties.
- Good report writing and oral presentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The specific duties of the Materials Controller will be as set out below but not limited to:
- Be responsible for the implementation of the materials handling procedures within the company. This includes Mats 1 -10.
- Train and be responsible for Controlling all operations of the supply chain.
- Train and be directly responsible and accountable for all sourcing and supply of materials.
- Ensure all costs – food/cleaning & service budgets & targets are maintained within the acceptable range within the project.
- You will coordinate the movement of goods from the supplier until they arrive at the intended destination within ATS operations.
- You will ensure proper storage of goods supplied. This must meet ATS and client Health and Safety requirements.
- You will maintain a work-in-process inventory. All work-in-process should be traceable. Recall procedures for sub-standard goods must be established and enforced.
- Training – you will be responsible for establishing and implementing a training program for your subordinates.
- Records of training must be kept and will be inspected by the HR Manager/Country Manager periodically.
- The Materials Controller is responsible for ATS public relations with all suppliers of goods and services.
2. BAR TENDER -X 01 MUNALI NICKLE MINE
PURPOSE: You will report directly to the food and beverage Manger who is in charge of food and beverage control, you will be responsible for making sure that all company materials are safe guard and taken good care of, and you will be involved in providing information on stocking levels in the project as well as undertaking procurement activities
QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Must have a minimum of a Diploma in Restaurant, Food and Beverage with some practical experience working in the bar/ food and beverage or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties may be considered.
- Must have initiative and have good interpersonal skills.
- Should be able to interact with personnel from other departments and the clients.
- Be physically fit and be able to pass pre-employment and medical examinations.
- Must have Good written and oral communication skills in English language.
- Ability to listen and learn skills required in performing bar service duties.
- Must have 2 years’ experience in a busy bar.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The specific duties of the Bar Tender will be as set out below but not limited to:
- Cleaning all bar areas and ensuring that they are maintained at an acceptable level of cleanliness.
- Ensure that the bar is free of rodents and insects.
- Make sure that all equipment in the bar areas is in good working order at all times.
- Ensuring that bar service is on time at the designated service areas.
- Be responsible for the stock and cash/sales in the bar.
- Arrange the tables/stools and chairs in the bar.
- Help clients with snack orders for the bar.
3. PASTRY COOK X01 MUNALI NICKLE MINE
PURPOSE: Assisting the Pastry Chef to overseeing the preparation, cooking and presentation of meals in the Kitchen and supervision of staff in the overall production of food.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Minimum of a certificate in pastry production or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties may be considered.
- Must have a good command of the English language.
- Must have good knowledge of international Pastries.
- Must have a complete education as a Pastry Chef.
- Must have basic school education.
- Must have at least 2 years of practical experience in Pastry in a hotel or restaurant.
- Must be able to deal with quality control, and production control.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The specific duties of the Pastry Cook will be as set out below but not limited to:
- The guidelines and requests from Management must be followed in the most efficient way.
- The Pastry Cook should be constantly aware of stock levels and stock
- quality of all Pastry and Bakery items.
- Check and ensure that all Pastry products are consistently prepared at the highest quality standard.
- The entire food production of the Pastry is the direct responsibility of the Pastry Cook.
- He/she is to use the standardized recipes and presentation photos as a guide line.
- The Pastry Cook is directly responsible together with the Pastry Chef, to ensure all his direct subordinates are fully aware of company standards concerning food production, food presentation, food handling, controlling procedures and the vessel sanitation and health program.
