Job Purpose
To provide efficient and effective management of Anti Money Laundering (AML) activities to protect the Society from being used for illegal financial crimes and Money Laundering activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
✓ Responsible for the design and monitoring of internal Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and /or Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) procedures and policies relating to record keeping, reporting, risk assessment, customer due diligence measures, and management control systems.
✓ To prepare daily, monthly, counter transaction, suspicious reports, and any other demand reports from regulators for onward review and submission.
✓ To analyse daily, investigate, review, and resolve AML/CFT activities and Sanction related alerts from the AML system in terms of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Transaction
Analysis.
✓ To execute instructions on time from the Compliance Manager when carrying out expectations for Money Laundering and CFT activities.
✓ To conduct preliminary investigations of suspicious transactions, obtain documentary proof of suspicious transactions and ensure effective record-keeping of suspicious transactions identified and reported to the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) in line with the requirements of the Financial Intelligence Act.

✓ To be the centre of the operations of AML/CFT systems and support the unit in all Money Laundering and CFT
Activities and bring to the attention of the Heads of departments for further action for the institution’s benefit.
Qualifications and Experience
✓ Full Grade 12 School Certificate with five (5) ‘O’ levels passes.
✓ Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance, Business, Economics, Accountancy, ACCA, CIMA,
Management, or related discipline.
✓ A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar environment.
