The Zambia National Building Society (ZNBS) is the leading provider of sustainable and affordable mortgage financing, property management and banking services in Zambia.

The Society seeks to recruit skilled, experienced, self-motivated, and energetic individuals to be part of a dynamic team to fill the following positions; 


Grade: ZNBS 6 Job Purpose 

To execute all Human Resource transactions and administration processes with emphasis on data integrity and analysis to support key HR decisions and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgement and interface between the HR and other departments in order to contribute to the business operations in line with the Society’s strategic objectives and policies.  

Duties and Responsibilities

✓ To work closely with Line Managers in implementing value-adding human resource strategies, policies, and procedures (including compensation, disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and transport policies and procedures).

✓ To prepare departmental plans and budgets.

✓ To compute benefits and other conditions of service.

✓ To prepare and process monthly payroll, benefits, and HR-related reports.

✓ To update and maintain the HR information Management System

✓ To collect, collate and analyse remuneration-related information through benchmarking and salary surveys to provide information for decision-making.

✓ To interpret and implement the Society’s terms and conditions of service, management decisions and policies relating to employment, compensation, training and development and staff welfare.

✓ To assist the supervisor in preparing Human Resources monthly and quarterly activity reports.

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

✓ Full Grade 12 School Certificate with five (5) ‘O’ levels passes.

✓ Degree        in       Human        Resources

Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related Social Science degree.

✓ A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

✓ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

✓ Strong interpersonal skills. 

✓ Excellent computer skills (Excel, word processing and PowerPoint).

✓ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

✓ Strong report-writing and presentation skills.

✓ High level of honesty, integrity, objectivity, and independence of thought.

✓ Be innovative and creative.
