Umoyo is seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join our team. As a key member of our marketing and design team, you will play a crucial role in creating labels and packaging graphics for our new products, you will bring your creative flair and technical expertise to every project.

In addition this role will require you to create captivating graphics for our marketing and social media campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Design and conceptualise product labels and packaging designs
• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements and prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software
• Work with copywriters and the head of department to produce final designs
• Test graphics across various media and ensure they are visually appealing and on-brand

Qualifications/Skills:

• A strong portfolio showcasing creative flair and ability to translate requirements into design
• Expert knowledge of design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
