Rdo equipment Africa seeks the services of a contracting manager to run a large fleet of mainly Deere harvesters/ sprayers and tractors. The right person would have to have the following experience / passion as laid out below

1. A love for working on large complicated equipment. We run all latest technology from pulse spraying to telemetric solutions all requiring constant monitoring.
2. Some one with a very strong mechanical back ground with an ability to solve issues or at least create a plan to resolve issues.
3. A strong attention to detail kind of person
4. Must be very computer literate able to work with spread sheets and budgets.
5. Must have at least 5 years working experience on large equipment
6. As we have a large labor force, we need someone that can and is willing to work with arrange and train staff
7. A diploma or degree in a similar field would be very beneficial.

The location is in Zambia, the job does require a fair amount of traveling at certain times of the year. There are also certain times our hours in the field are very long. Not at all suitable for a 9 to 5 kind of person. We offer a company car/ medical and very competitive salary.
