Reporting to the Senior Accountant.

The main duties and Responsibilities of the role are as follows;

1. Booking of invoices for stock purchases (Foot ware, hosieries, and raw materials)
2. Booking of movements i.e. transfers, consumption and usage of raw materials and cost of sales
3. Reconciliation of stocks in Stores and Distribution Centre.
4. Reconciliation of Raw materials vs Production
5. Review of stocks produced vs production plan
6. Review of stocks received vs ordered.
7. Reconciliation of stock counts vs system, and follow up if there are any differences
8. Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for inventory
9. Assist with internal controls established relating to inventory.

Requirements/Qualifications

1. Level 2 ACCA, CIMA, ZICA, Degree in Accounting or Finance
2. Four (4) years’ work experience (minimum of 1 year in Relevant role)
3. Previous experience in using accounting software
4. Excellent Written and verbal skills
5. Highly organised and detail oriented
6. Strong analytical skills
