- Welcome customers and escort to their tables
- Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
- Inform customers about the day’s specials
- Offer menu recommendations upon request
- Up-sell additional products when appropriate
- Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software,order slips or by memorization
- Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
- Serve food and drink orders
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
- Deliver and collect bill payments
- Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen
- Meet with Cooks to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
- Follow all relevant health regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
BARTENDER-3
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant customers
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
CHEF-1
- Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
- Bake, grill, stream and cook assorted types of dishes
- Present, garnish and arrange final dishes
- Occasionally serve food
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
- Handle and store ingredients and food
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils
- Execute opening and closing procedures. Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
- Monitor station inventory levels
- Accommodate guests’ special requests
- Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers
CLEANERS-2
Coordinating with other Cleaners to keep the cafe clean
Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes up as quickly as possible
Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning (e.g. maintaining cleaning machinery)
Refilling supplies, such as toilet paper and paper towels
REQUIREMNETS
- Minimum of Two Years of Experience in desired Role
- Trade Certification will be an added advantage
- Grade 12 Certificate as entry point for Cleaners & Secuirity officers
- Honest with high levels of integrity
- Able to work with minimum supervision
